ARRANGED FOR SOPRANO (OR TREBLE INSTRUMENT) AND HARP
Souvenez-Vous Vierge Marie is a warm and flowing composition by French composer Jules Massenet (1842-1912). Its text features a prayer written by Georges Boyer that asks for pity and grace. It was originally written for chorus, soloist, organ, and orchestra in 1880, and later arranged for voice and piano or organ. This flexible arrangement features resonant and comfortable arpeggios in the harp accompaniment, and can be performed on a recital as a harp and voice duet, or customized for any harp and treble instrument combination.
