Francesco paolo tosti - sogno
ARRANGED FOR SOPRANO (OR TREBLE INSTRUMENT) AND HARP
This tender work by Italian song composer Paolo Tosti (1846-1916) is based on a text by Lorenzo Stecchetti, describing a beautiful dream of a lover. The harp part is simple and comfortable to play, and features smooth arpeggios in rocking 6/8 patterns with countermelodies that weave through the main melody. This flexible arrangement can be performed on a recital as a harp and voice duet, or adapted for any harp and treble instrument to sight-read at gigs.
