Jules Massenet- les Âmes
ARRANGED FOR SOPRANO (OR TREBLE INSTRUMENT) AND HARP
Les Âmes is a sparkling and bright composition by French composer Jules Massenet (1842-1912), originally composed for voice and piano. The text by Paul Demouth contemplates the souls that are in the eyes of flames. The comfortable accompaniment supports the imagery with sparkling and dancing arpeggios. This flexible arrangement can be performed on a recital as a harp and voice duet, or customized for any harp and treble instrument combination.
