Erin has taught private lessons for over 20 years. She is a registered Suzuki harp teacher and teaches Salzedo technique. She takes pride in empowering students with solid fundamental technique, efficient practice strategies, and emotional connections to their repertoire.  Lessons focus on technique training, musicality, and music reading.  As a student advances, lessons incorporate ear training, music theory, orchestral skills, music history, harp maintenance, and chamber music coaching.

Her students’ accomplishments include receiving First Place in the Intermediate Division of the American Harp Society National Competition (2021), First Place in the Young Artist’s Harp Seminar National Competition (2018), Honorable Mention in the Walgreens National Concerto Competition (2020, 2021), First Place in the Greater Chicago Chapter of the American Harp Society Competition (2020), and being selected to perform as a featured composer at American Harp Society National Summer Institute’s Young Composer’s Project (2019).  My students have been selected for the Iowa All-State Music Festival, and the Midwest Young Artists Conservatory.  Her students have gone on to major in harp in college and receive undergraduate and graduate degrees in harp performance. She has over 10 years of college teaching experience, and is on faculty at Augustana College and the University of Iowa. She has taught at Indiana University South Bend Raclin School of the Arts, the Music Institute of Chicago, and has worked at Interlochen Summer Arts camp as a harp assistant.
